Who we are
TickShield UK is written by a small team of countryside regulars - dog walkers on the South Downs, hikers in the Lake District and parents who have spent one bank holiday too many doing tick checks after a day in the bracken.
What we publish
Practical tick protection for British days out: tick tweezers and removal cards, permethrin-treated clothing, garden and pet precautions, and what to do after a bite - written with NHS and UKHSA tick awareness guidance in mind.
Independence and funding
Some shop links are affiliate links: buy through one and the team earns a small commission at no extra cost to you. Commissions never decide what we recommend. We do not give medical advice - if you feel unwell after a bite, contact your GP or call NHS 111.
